Shoes
Okay, here is a picture of Hazel and her shoe fettish (did I spell that correctly?) The pink/brown combo is her favorite, but sometimes she mixes it up.

I never ever thought...
in my wildest dreams that I would be a proud owner of a minivan. Okay, well I don't know if I have reached the "proud" part yet, but I think I will once we have owned it for awhile. My lease is up soon and we figured our new car might as well be able to accomadate a growing family (no we are not expecting) and carpooling. I have been looking at vans for the past few weeks and when we found a great deal on this van we decided to get it even though I have another month left on my lease. The kids are super excited about it and I seriously think Lincoln has more fun jumping around inside the van than he does at the park. It is so funny how excited he is - for weeks he has been telling everyone (even store clerks) that we were buying a van with a sliding door. At least he is loving it! Now hopefully I can find a buyer for my Murano so I am not stuck with it for the next month.

Hats, hats, hats
Hazel has been starting to show a little of her individuality and creativity lately by designing her own hats. Once she gets them on her head, she is very mad if you try to take them off, no matter what the reason.
Here is one fashioned out of a swimsuit bottom:
A doctor bag:
Okay, this one really is a hat, but Linc's snow hat in August??
Also notice that she is starting to put on her own shoes (of course on the wrong feet) and they do not always match. We have been seen at the park, store and walking around the block in mis-matched shoes. Normally a pink/black or pink/brown combo. She is becoming her own individual and I love it!

Great Harvest field trip
Today we went on a field trip to Great Harvest Bread Company with a few of our neighbor friends. Did you know they did free tours for kids ages 4+? I didn't and I am so thankful for my neighbor for setting it up. Lincoln had so much fun learning all of the ingredients you need to make bread, but his favorite part was checking out the machines. He saw the mill that grinds the flour, the huge dough mixer, the dough loaf seperator, and he begged and pleaded until the lady gave in and showed him how the bread slicer works. He liked the slicer so much she did it twice for him! He declined the option to play with the bread dough and he even declined the free cookie. He is his daddy's son being more into the machines than the treats!! I took his cookie as well as the free loaf of bread they gave me. I am all about the food! Thanks GH!

Gotta love that boy!
Today Lincoln told his sunday school teacher "the church is like Heavenly Father's clubhouse"
