St. Patty's Day
On St. Patty's morning we woke up to a little surprise left by a sneaky little leprechaun. He had left little green footprints from our cat door to the kids little play house. Inside the mailbox he left the kids some gold coins. Lincoln thought this was great and when he found the coins he said "mom, you were right. Leprechans are sneaky!" He was nice enough to share two of the coins with Hazel, but then he was sneaky himself & ate all of the rest himself.

It used to be so easy to take a cute picture of the two kids together, but not anymore. We have finally reached the days where it is hard to make both of them smile at the same time. Notice in the 2nd picture down Hazels "big cheese", this is her smile lately as soon as she sees a camera.

Disney on Ice
We took Lincoln to Disney on Ice last weekend and he had so much fun. Sorry for the picture overload - I just wanted to document how hard it is to get a picture without him making goofy faces. He has seen commercials of Disneyland and keeps asking us when we are going - since it isn't in the plans anytime soon we decided this would be fun for him. We were lucky enough to have my mom come along with us and we sat on the 2nd row so he would be able to see and not get too distracted.
It was about Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy & Goofy going on a magical journey. They visited the Lion King, Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch , but his all time favorite was Peter Pan. He was a little too practical about some things though: when fog filled the stage he said "maybe it is just coming from those fog machines", and when Nana the dog came by us he said "I think I saw a person on that dog costume". He also kept looking up at the lights to see how everything was working. He definitely has a mind like his dad!

Update
Hazel has been LOVING the wonderful weather we have been having (haven't we all??). She could play outside all day long. Her new favorite toy is the motorized four wheeler we bought Lincoln a few years ago. Lincoln has only ridden on it a few times and never really loved it. Hazel hops right on and pushes the button to make it go (even though she isn't always holding onto the handlebars yet). If she gets stuck or runs into something, she still keeps her finger on the button and the wheels moving until somebody gets her unstuck. And when it is time to go inside she screams bloody murder - so uspet that her fun has come to an end.
I don't have a story about the picture below, I just love it and wanted to post it. This was taken about a month ago - we have since taken her binky away (except when she sleeps).
