Smiles!

I was FINALLY able to get some pictures of Hazel smiling. She is smiling a lot now & starting to have little "conversations" with us.

A quiet child is a child in trouble

This morning the kids & I were watching our morning cartoons downstairs. Lincoln decided to go upstairs to look for a motorcycle toy. I got curious when he was gone for a few minutes & I didn't hear any noise, so I went to see what he was doing & this is what I found. He had emptied my whole diaper bag & found a trial size sunblock that he decided to use like lotion. Isn't it wonderful when they learn how to use a zipper & twist off caps! We are so proud of them until they make a mess like this. It took a nice long shower & LOTS of soap to get off all of the sunblock. And luckily the mess was mostly on my wood floors & not my carpet.

I was mad at first (because I hate cleaning up messes) but I am glad I took a picture so we can laugh at it later. Kids will be kids!

Baby Puzzle

We went over to Nicole's house on Saturday & finally let her girls hold Hazel (or baby Puzzle as they call her!) They were so excited!

Cheese!

I was trying to take some new pictures of Hazel the other day & Lincoln wanted to be included (even though he wasn't dressed for it). He loves to hold Hazel & show that he is not a baby anymore, he is a big boy. Hazel is already 7 weeks old. I can't believe how fast it is going by!
Hazel is finally smiling, but it is mostly in the mornings when she first wakes up. She is definately a more serious baby than Lincoln was but maybe that will change.

MMMMM Brownies!!

Lincoln helped me make some brownies the other day & he was so excited to lick the beaters. I had to pry them from his hands when I thought he had enough. He is just like his mother - he LOVES chocolate!

Monster Trucks

Tommy took Lincoln to see the Monster Trucks & Motocross two Saturdays ago. Lincoln thought it was so cool to see trucks smashing cars. He has really been into this cartoon on TLC lately called Bigfoot - it's a cartoon of little monster trucks going to school.
