Lincoln turned 5! (last week-oops!)

Lincoln turned 5! We celebrated with a scientist party last week and had so much fun with all of his little friends. Here is the little scientist himself...

and some of his friends...

and cousins...
they were all so attentive and loved to try to anser the questions the "Mad Scientist" asked...

I was the assistant and kept busy carrying out all of the experiments...

we made gak (check out the expression of the mad scientist - ha ha!)...

and lava lamps, and blew up balloons with carbon dioxide...

and the little scientists loved to look at the speciment jars and were amazed at the dry ice fog...
and here is a picture of the ugliest cake I have ever made: Volcano with dry ice fog and sparkler candles - at least it tasted better than it looked!
Tommy was very entertaining and tried to teach the kids as much science as he could while making them laugh as hard as he could. I think all had fun - I know Lincoln did!
Happy birthday big guy - I love you!

Ultrasound today....

For those of you who don't already know, we had our ultrasound today. This was a pretty big deal for us since we decided to find out what we are having. We didn't find out with Lincoln or Hazel and by doing that we missed out on a lot of the ultrasound as to not ruin the surprise. Well, today went great and we loved seeing the healthy baby moving all around and seeing the baby from head to toe. The doctor informed us that everything looks great!

Oh, and by the way, we are having a girl!!!!!!
