Backyard Band

One day in the backyard my kids decided to make their own music. Hazel is playing the drums and singing a song about the sun, and Lincoln is playing the stick guitar and rockin out! I think it is so funny (but of course, I am their mom so I would!)

Wheeler Farm and a few random pics...

Lincoln had been asking for a few months to ride a horse, so we waited for a nice warm day and went to Wheeler Farm. The pony ride wasn't much (the caretaker just leads the horse around the field once), but Lincoln thought it was amazing and can't wait to do it again.

Hazel was a little more cautious, but held on tight as I walked next to her with my hand on her back. She never cried and I think she will want to do it again next time too.

showing off his tree climbing skills...
Hazel loved the little houses...
and of course the kids loved to pose all over the farm...

here are a few random pics from home. Lincoln being scary...
Hazel falling asleep during the naptime show - life is just too much fun...
and here is a picture of Hazel taken about a month or so ago. She was so excited to go to our neighbors for a girly tea party with hot cocoa and yummy finger snacks. So cute...

Now that I have my new camera (that actually works) hopefully I can post more frequently!

Guess what???

Well..... some of you already know......... some of you might have guessed....... and some of you might still be in the dark..... but it is finally time to announce it:

We are expecting baby #3!!!!

I know the pictures are pretty hard to see, but they were just taken today at my appt. and I wanted to share them (with a huge smile on my face!) The baby was very active during the ultrasound so I was able to see it move it's arms and legs all around. The top picture is of the baby looking right at you. I am 12 weeks 5 days and due on November 11.

Lincoln and Hazel are both very excited to have a baby in the family - everyday Hazel talks or sings to my tummy. My belly is already poking out and I have entered the stage of maternity clothes only (unless I want to be squeezed in half and look like I have two bellies!) Oh, and I breezed through my last two pregnancies, but this baby has decided to make me suffer a little bit with nausea throughout the day. It will be worth it in the end though :)

I have NEVER waited this long to tell people before when we were pregnant and it has been driving me CRAZY!! But due to an early on miscarriage in January we decided to wait till the "safe point" to share with everyone this time around. So glad to be joining my many, many neighbors who are also having babies this year (even though you are all due way before me!). I'll keep you updated on how things are going, because for a change we are actually finding out the sex of the baby this time around!
