Memorial Weekend

Over Memorial weekend we attended my Granpa's 80th surprise birthday party down south. The party was supposed to be at the land he owns my Mountain Meadow, but due to weather we had to move it to a chapel in Enterprise. It was still tons of fun & my Grandpa had a wonderful day.

Here are some pictures of the kids playing in the new sandbox at the meadows when the weather let up. Here is Lincoln with his arm across Owen's chest as they watched their dad's shooting guns. Tom told Lincoln not to pass a certain line, so Lincoln took it upon himself to make sure Owen didn't pass the same line. At least it was for safety's sake.

Here is Grandpa with his shirt that the great grandkids made him. He loved it and ended up wearing it all day.
With all the excitement going on Hazel decided to take a little cat nap on my leg. She was a pretty good sport over the weekend considering her hear infections never cleared up (we are now on our 2nd dose of antibiotics)

Here are a couple more pictures from the meadows on Sunday morning. Hazel looked to cute in her little bear hat (it was pretty cold!!)
We had a great weekend!!

Swanky Chicken Machine

Our business has now been open full time for 1 1/2 years. I stopped by work today to see a new machine Tommy bought & took some pictures to show off our shop. Tommy is embarassed because the shop is messy, but I made him let me take pics anyway. We now have 3 full time employees and am happy to say that they are staying busy. Tommy works long hours (about 12 hour days & almost every Saturday) but hopefully that won't last forever. He is doing a great job growing our company. Here is the proud owner himself...

There is Skyler working hard... And here are some of the parts they make at the shop - I can't tell you what they all do, but I think they are really cool. Everytime we visit Tom at the shop Lincoln always tries to take a couple souveniers with him off of these racks. He loves to go to the shop to watch the machines run & to play with Daddy's tools.

Sniper

Tommy's training for his new special ops job as a sniper for the military is going well. As you can see he really gets into his training, but he suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound his first day. After 4 inside stitches & 7 outside he is back on the horse and ready to roll.

Chunky Hazel

Here of some current pictures of Hazel from the past two weeks. She is getting to be such a chunk!! As you can tell she loves the camera...
Here we are at the park...
The easiest way to eat is to suck the food off of the fingers...
LOVES being naked...
These pictures don't do her leg rolls justice, but you can kinda see her wrist roll...
She is such a cutie!!!!

Macaroni & Cheese

Lincoln LOVES to cook. He mostly cooks in his play kitchen, but once in a while I will let him help me cook mac n' cheese for lunch. He loves to stir the noodles & then tap the spoon on the side of the pan to get the water off. He feels very importants when he helps out & you can tell by the pictures that he is very pleased. (Note: Please know that I stand by him the whole time to make sure he is safe. We have had the talk about touching nothing but the spoon - no touching the stove, pan, etc. :)

Great Grandparents

My Grandparents were up in SLC the other day so they came over to our house to play with all of the great grandkids. They met Hazel for the first time & I think she was pleased to meet them. We all had a great time! Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for hanging out with us!!

How fast they grow

I am amazed everyday at how fast Lincoln & Hazel are growing up. The first picture was taken when Hazel was 1 month old and the second picture is her at 5 months (sorry it is blurry). Lincoln is still being a great brother by sharing toys with her, teaching her what things are & being very protective & Hazel still adores everything he does.
