Jesus and Mommy

Lincoln drew this picture for me today and it made me smile, so I thought I would share it. This is a picture of Jesus and on his lap is me when I was a baby (do you see my long hair?). The yellow structure in the corner is Grandma Coni's house, and she is at the door window looking up at heaven waiting for me. So sweet, I love that boy!

Sledding and more snow fun!

Lincoln is so excited that we finally got some more snow. That kid loves snow - he cries everytime it is time to come inside or leave the sledding hill. The other day our neighbors invited us to go sledding with them at the park and we had so much fun - even though the hill was mostly ice by now.

Somebody made this cool ATV out of snow and Lincoln couldn't wait to go for a ride.

We only have 1 sled, so when Tommy took Hazel for a ride Lincoln decided to improvise and slide down the ice hill on his tummy. He didn't get too far, so then he started rolling down. I was a little worried of him getting run over by other sledders!

And yes, Hazel laughed all the way down the hill and loved being pulled back up.

I joined in a little too, but our sled decided to spin 360's all the way down the hill so I got a little spooked and only went twice. I am fine when I can see where I am going, but spinning in circles is a little nerve racking for me.

When we aren't sledding Linc loves to go out in the yard and make snow angels...

drink hot cocoa...

and play with the neighbors in a friendly snowball fight!
